Monday Multiple Series # 50-Shades of Toasted Marshmallow

Ask any of my children what our favorite paint color in this house has been and I bet they could remember the name... Toasted Marshmellow. What a wonderful name for a smooth light tan color. The problem is over the years we have versions from eggshell to satin and it appears a few new shades have been incorporated.
Just a  few dabs would do to cover some nail holes, but finding the right can has been a challenge.
I've been labeling each and taking a sample swipe to form a master inventory.

The ceiling paint can won the toxic trophy:

I extracted just enough to cover the few spots on the ceiling.

The next house will only have a ceiling paint and ONE other color.

Introducing 1400 square feet of stucco charm:

I'm back.
The sabbatical lasted 20 days.
During those days we made an offer on a small house and it was accepted.
small stucco house

I'm returning early to document my nuerotic journey of reducing a 3200 sq feet into 1400.

The corner in the backyard where a shed should go would instead make a lovely building site for the future tiny house on wheels, don't you think?

It feels good to be back.
You already missed two donation trips.
I've been training for this for five years.

Learn from the next generation

I'm taking a month off the blog to observe.
Starting now.
Great thoughts from this post.

Monday Multiple Series # 49-Nailed it

Two pretty identical hammers.
The metal section of one of these had pulled out of the wooden handle.
Even though it may have some generational history, I'm not fixing it. I'm not.

That felt great.
