You fill the space that surrounds you

It was this photo that made us toss all the garage estimates for now.

Cleaning my files and came across this folder of images.

Small house with a big welcoming entrance:

The centerpiece fireplace accented with one leather chair.
Combining the rooms make a small space look larger.

Purple panic

I told him to donate all our old CD's.
"Just stream music when you want to hear it."
Then Prince died.
Listen to the music on Spotify....nope.
Listen to the music on YouTube...nope

There in a box, under the stairs, in the dark corner were my husband's collection.
Did he keep it?

Pile one......nope.
Pile two......nope
Pile three...nope.
Look again, I may have missed it...nope.
Pile four at the bottom I struck the purple prize.

So glad he didn't listen to me.

Will work for the homeless

homeless sign -framed in display by jani leinonen

Homeless signs collected around the world from beggars were displayed into an art institution by jani leinonen at the ARoS Museum in Aahus Demnark to bring attention to those less fortunate.

While these frames contained signs scratched on cardboard and paper, the frames were valuable.

Keeping this just..."because"

The Power of Observation - Broadening your field of vision from ReD Associates on Vimeo.

ReD  associate's job is to observe people and how they interact with the things around them.
I spend so much time thinking about where an object goes and what it's function is in my life.

How do we make decisions on the things we surround ourself?
Is it based on memories, value, function,or just because?

The final thought in this video:

"It's in the tension between how people want to see themselves, and the observable reality of their lives, where there is a truth worth taking seriously and betting on."

How Roche Bobois can make a space fun with cushions

Wouldn't it be fun if a house was just one room with cushions?

.

Watching this Roche Bobois promo is just as fun.
